Performance Intake Manifold and Swirl Flap Delete

A performance intake manifold improves air/fuel mixture distribution between cylinders and optimizes cylinder filling at high rpm. It is especially effective when combined with a throttle body and ECU tuning.

Intake swirl flaps are a recurring source of failure on BMW diesel engines (N47 in the 1 and 3 Series, X1; N57 in the 5 Series, X5) and VAG group TDI engines. Over time and with heat cycles, the flap shafts corrode and seize. In the worst case, a broken flap fragment is ingested by the engine. Complete removal and replacement with machined aluminum blanking plugs is the standard preventive fix.

Each kit includes aluminum plugs plus a new seal when needed. Compatible with ECU tuning on gasoline engines to clear the related fault codes.
