Renault Twingo Sport: Dynamic city driving with a lively turbo engine

The Renault Twingo Sport (also known as the Twingo GT) is a compact sporty city car built around accessible driving fun and remarkable agility, thanks to its rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. Powered by a turbocharged 0.9-liter TCe 3-cylinder engine producing 110 hp and 170 Nm of torque, it offers an excellent power-to-weight ratio of about 8.5 kg/hp, a clear improvement over previous generations.

Its engine benefits from an optimized intake, a specific dual-outlet exhaust and a revised ECU map, delivering strong acceleration and a lively character.

Visually, the Twingo Sport stands out with its 17-inch Twin’Run alloy wheels, dual exhaust outlets, a distinctive side air scoop and sporty body elements inspired by the Twin’Run concept. Inside, the functional cabin offers settings tuned for dynamic driving, an accelerator with optimized response and two driving modes (Normal and Eco).

Highly appreciated for its agility, playful handling and sporty urban character, the Twingo Sport is also an interesting base for fans of light performance tuning, notably through ECU tuning, intake and exhaust upgrades, and chassis adjustments.
