RacingLine Turbo Intake Hose VWR12G7R600IT - MQB 1.8/2.0 TSI EA888 Gen3

The RacingLine VWR12G7R600IT turbo intake hose replaces the stock plastic hose, the restrictive plastic bellows located between the air box and the turbo inlet. An ideal complement to the R600 intake kit as well as the stock airbox, it smooths airflow to the turbo for a flow gain measured on the dyno, and therefore more power and response.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a specific MAF sensor?

Yes, note: vehicles equipped with a mass air flow sensor (MAF sensor) require the R602 version (VWR12G7R602IT) with the matching R602 intake kit. Check for the sensor before ordering.

Why a flexible hose rather than a rigid one?

Because the engine moves considerably under load: a rigid hose would eventually damage the intake. The controlled flexibility of the silicone hose is essential to its reliability.

Is it useful without an intake kit?

Yes, it already provides a gain over the stock airbox, but it delivers the best results alongside an R600 intake kit.
