How do I know if this part fits my vehicle?

We develop plates and kits for EGR valves, not for vehicles, because the same engine or valve can be found on many different models. To check whether this product suits your vehicle, simply look at the photos or the list of compatible engines. We show photos of engine blocks or valves. If yours matches the one shown, this product is compatible. You can also email us a photo of your engine for a quick answer.

How do I position/install this product?

The product photos show a simple installation guide. An arrow or drawing guides you and serves as instructions. It's actually very simple. If you wish, you'll also find an engine silicone tube at the bottom of the page to perfect the seal of the installation.

A warning light comes on, what should I do?

On recent engines (generally 2004 and later), a warning light may come on in the dashboard or the vehicle may switch to limp mode. An electronic intervention may therefore be needed to pair an electronic delete with this mechanical delete. But it is also possible to drill the plate to create a "restrictor". It lets a small amount of gas through and prevents the ECU from detecting the intervention.

Why delete the EGR valve?

As always, for the sake of power gain and engine efficiency. We develop and sell parts for motorsport and engine performance. The EGR valve recirculates part of the exhaust gases into the intake in order to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions, which contribute to atmospheric pollution, ozone and fine particulate precursors. This technique, besides fouling the engine and generating black smoke clouds, leans out the air/fuel mixture. By adding exhaust gas to fresh air, the vehicle feels sluggish. By blocking the EGR valve, you improve combustion quality. You therefore increase engine efficiency and torque. Your vehicle will be more powerful and have more torque. Ideal for gaining a few hundredths at the start of races.
