WAGNER Tuning intercooler, 996 Turbo/Turbo S

Wagner Tuning performance part: Competition EVO 2 twin intercooler kit, designed and manufactured in Germany by Wagner Tuning for the Porsche 911 type 996 Turbo and Turbo S.

The legendary 3.6 twin-turbo “Mezger” engine of the 996 Turbo can handle highly advanced tuning, but its two original intercoolers quickly become the limiting factor as boost pressure increases. With 77% additional volume, enlarged fittings and dedicated carbon air scoops, the Wagner Tuning EVO 2 kit keeps boost air significantly cooler, reduces pressure drop and improves turbo efficiency, for higher and more consistent performance on the street as well as on the track.

• Volume increased by 77%: 21.2 L total, compared with 12 L (2 x 6 L) for the original intercoolers
• Core dimensions: 2 x 330 x 222 x 145 mm (stepped cores)
• Specially developed Competition core for optimal cooling even in extreme conditions
• Freeform cast aluminum air boxes designed with CAD, for minimal pressure drop
• 70 mm fittings at inlet and outlet, for maximum flow
• Custom carbon air scoops and enlarged-diameter silicone hoses supplied
