Intercooler WAGNER Tuning for VW Golf 8 GTI (EA888 Gen.4)

Wagner Tuning performance part: Competition intercooler designed and manufactured in Germany by Wagner Tuning for VAG vehicles equipped with the 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen4.

The original intercooler on EA888 Gen4 engines quickly reaches its limits, especially after ECU tuning or sustained use. With nearly double the volume and a pressure drop more than halved, the Wagner Tuning Competition intercooler significantly lowers intake air temperature, reduces the load on the turbo, and allows the engine to deliver more power and torque consistently.

• Volume increased by 97%: 17.7 L vs. 9 L for the original intercooler
• Core dimensions: 620 x 440 x 65 mm
• Pressure drop reduced by 57% compared to the original, for less mechanical stress on the turbo
• Next-generation Competition tube & fin core with very efficient cooling while preserving airflow to the neighboring radiators
• Cast aluminum end tanks designed using CAD and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
• Inlet and outlet of 70 mm in diameter
• Lightweight: only 9.2 kg
