Intercooler WAGNER Tuning BMW EVO2

Wagner Tuning performance part: Competition EVO 2 intercooler, designed and manufactured in Germany by Wagner Tuning for F-generation BMW 1, 2, 3 and 4 Series, petrol and diesel engines, including M135i, M235i and M2.

On F-series BMWs, the stock intercooler quickly reaches its limits, especially after a remap: intake air heats up, power drops and performance becomes inconsistent. With nearly double the volume and a much larger frontal area, the Wagner Tuning Competition EVO 2 intercooler keeps charge air significantly cooler, reduces pressure drop and allows the engine to deliver higher, more consistent power.

Technical specifications:

• Volume increased by 90%: 13.8 L vs. 7.3 L for the stock intercooler
• Frontal area increased by 68% compared to stock
• Core dimensions: 520 x 215 x 145 mm, stepped core (stock: 510 x 130 x 110 mm)
• Competition tube & fin core with internal turbulators, for very efficient cooling even in extreme conditions
• Die-cast aluminum end tanks optimized through computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for minimal pressure drop
• Lightweight: 9.1 kg
• Anti-corrosion coating with high thermal conductivity, for lasting efficiency
• Plug & play fitment: direct replacement of the stock intercooler, reusing the original boost hoses
