Wagner Tuning performance part: Competition intercooler designed and manufactured in Germany by Wagner Tuning for the VW Polo AW GTI and Audi A1 GB 40 TFSI, both fitted with the 2.0 TSI.

With over 200 hp, the latest-generation Polo GTI and the A1 40 TFSI are highly capable compact cars, but their stock intercooler quickly reaches its limit during spirited driving or after remapping. With a 73% larger volume and a bigger frontal area, the Wagner Tuning Competition intercooler keeps the charge air significantly cooler and reduces pressure drop, for higher and more consistent power, on the road as well as on track.

• Volume increased by 73%: 11.14 L vs. 6.44 L for the original intercooler
• Frontal area increased by 24%: 1,002 cm² vs. 805 cm² stock

• Cast aluminum end tanks optimized with CAD and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation, for optimal internal flow
