Wagner Tuning performance part: Competition intercooler designed and manufactured in Germany by Wagner Tuning for Volkswagen Group and Audi models on the MQB platform, equipped with the third-generation 1.8 or 2.0 TSI EA888.

The Gen.3 EA888 in the Golf 7 GTI and R and their VAG Group siblings handles highly modified builds well, but the stock 9 L intercooler quickly becomes the limiting factor. With 17 L of volume, 70 mm couplings and a highly efficient Competition core, the Wagner Tuning intercooler keeps boost air noticeably cooler, greatly reduces pressure drop, and allows the engine to deliver higher, more consistent power, even under sustained load.
