STXA ST Suspensions Coilovers VOLKSWAGEN Polo IX

The STXA coilovers from ST Suspensions (part number 18281015#6) are designed for the VOLKSWAGEN Polo IX (6R), including facelift and GTI models. Derived from motorsport, the STXA range offers height and damping adjustment.

• Years: 05/09 - (Polo IX 6R, 09/2009 - Present)
• Lowering: 20 to 50 mm front, 40 to 65 mm rear
• Maximum permitted weight: 860 kg on front axle, 800 kg on rear axle
• Height: adjustment by dial on the threaded body, front and rear on vehicles that allow it
• Damping: precise adjustment via progressive knob on top of the shock absorber shaft
• Protection: galvanized finish and anti-corrosion coating, galvanized steel strut legs

Installation and shipping

Kits ship with enough parts to fit the vehicle and replace the original suspension without modification. If the vehicle only has rear springs originally, the kit will be the same.

Only the STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: for other models, plan on using original strut mounts. Kits are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), except for any accessory essential for lowering.

Technical note before ordering

On M-Tech equipped models, use only the lowering spring kits. The lowering will be 20 mm less than indicated.
