Installation and delivery

Coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If the vehicle only has springs at the rear from factory, the kit will be the same.

Only STXTA coilovers are sold with strut mounts. For any other model, original strut mounts are required for installation. Kits ship bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required.

Technical notes to consider before ordering

• Except on models equipped with the ride height corrector (or ride height corrector adjustment required).
• For models equipped with the EDC system (electronic damping control), the following parts must be replaced.
• Front: bearing REF. BMW 31 331 091 709 + strut mount REF. BMW 31 331 116 983 + dust boot REF. BMW 31 331 110 196.
• Rear: upper bearing REF. BMW 33 521 091 710 + bracket REF BMW 33 521 090 282 + seat REF BMW 33 521 092 986 + dust boot REF BMW 31 331 137 932 + rubber washer REF BMW 33 531 091 031.
