The STXA ST Suspensions coilovers (reference 18280003#3) fit the VOLKSWAGEN Golf III / Vento (1HX0, 1H, 1EX0, 1E), 2WD, sedan and convertible, from 09/1991 onward. Derived from motorsport, the STXA range allows height and damping adjustment.
- Maximum permitted weight: 890 kg on the front axle, 880 kg on the rear axle
- Lowering: 45 to 80 mm front and rear
- Height: adjustable front and rear (on vehicles that allow it) via a disc on the threaded body of the shock absorber
- Damping: precise adjustment via progressive knob at the top of the shock absorber rod
- Protection: galvanizing and anti-corrosion coating
Fitting and delivery
The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. Kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable): only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts, so original strut mounts are required for fitting. The struts are galvanized steel. ST Suspensions is a KW brand, and its products are manufactured by KW.
