STXA Coilovers ST Suspensions VOLKSWAGEN Golf VI

ST Suspensions STXA threaded coilovers, part number 18281022#2, are designed for the VOLKSWAGEN Golf VI (1K) with Ø 50 mm struts, from 10/08 onward. Derived from motorsport, the STXA range allows both height and damping adjustment.

• Front lowering: 35 to 65 mm
• Rear lowering: 35 to 65 mm
• Maximum permitted front axle load: 1106 to 1170 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle load: up to 1000 kg
• Height adjustment at front and rear (on vehicles that allow it) via a disc on the threaded body
• Progressive damping adjustment via knob at the top of the shock absorber shaft, to fine-tune your setup
• Galvanizing and anti-corrosion coating
• Galvanized steel struts

Installation and contents

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If your vehicle only has springs at the rear as standard, this kit will be the same.

The kit is supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required. Only STXTA threaded coilovers are sold with strut mounts: for other models, original strut mounts are required.

Technical note before ordering: models excluding 4WD; for models with 50 mm strut diameter on the front axle. For vehicles fitted with DDC electronic dampers, check that they are disconnected. A disconnection kit is available in the KW accessories range, REF 68510141.
