STXA Coilovers ST Suspensions VOLKSWAGEN Golf V

The STXA coilovers by ST Suspensions, part number 18210070#2, fit the Volkswagen Golf V, Golf Plus, Cross Golf and Golf Variant (1K, 1KP, 1KM) with 50 mm strut diameter. Motorsport-derived, the STXA range allows height and damping adjustment to fine-tune a custom setup.

• Height adjustment: front and rear (where the vehicle allows), via a disc on the shock body threads
• Damping adjustment: progressive and precise, via a knob at the top of the shock rod
• Lowering: 35-65 mm front, 35-65 mm rear
• Maximum permitted weight: 1106-1170 kg on front axle, 1000 kg on rear axle
• Protection: galvanized and anti-corrosion coating
• Struts: galvanized steel

Compatibility and fitting

Volkswagen Golf V (10/2003 - 11/2008), listed years: 09/03 and later. Coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If the vehicle only has springs at the rear as original equipment, this kit will be the same.

Only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: for any other model, original strut mounts are required. Kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable), except where an accessory essential for lowering is needed.
