STXA Coilovers ST Suspensions VOLKSWAGEN Golf V

The STXA coilovers from ST Suspensions, part number 18210039#5, fit the Volkswagen Golf V GTI (1K) 2.0 Turbo. Derived from motorsport, the STXA range allows height and damping adjustment to fine-tune a custom setup.

• Height adjustment: front and rear (on vehicles that allow it), via a dial on the threaded body of the shock absorber
• Damping adjustment: progressive and precise, via a knob on top of the shock absorber rod
• Lowering: 20-45 mm front, 10-35 mm rear
• Maximum permitted weight: 1105 kg on front axle, 975 kg on rear axle
• Protection: galvanizing and anti-corrosion coating
• Struts: galvanized steel

Compatibility and fitting

Volkswagen Golf V GTI (1K) 2.0 Turbo, model from 10/2003 to 11/2008 (years indicated: 12/04 and later). The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If the vehicle only has rear springs originally, it will be the same with this kit.

Only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: for any other model, original strut mounts are required. The kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is needed.
