STXA Coilovers ST Suspensions VOLKSWAGEN Golf IV

STXA ST Suspensions coilovers (ref. 18282002#5) are for the Volkswagen Golf IV (1J) Estate, 2WD. Motorsport-derived, the STXA range allows adjustment of ride height and damping.

• Maximum permitted front axle weight: -1020 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle weight: -1080 kg
• Front lowering: 35-65 mm
• Rear lowering: 35-65 mm
• Ride height adjustment: per ring on the shock threaded body, front and rear (on vehicles that allow it)
• Damping adjustment: progressive knob at top of shock shaft
• Protection: galvanizing and anti-corrosion coating; galvanized steel strut tubes

Installation and delivery

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and replace the original suspension without modification. If the vehicle only has rear springs as standard, this kit will be the same. The only models sold with strut mounts are STXTA: for other models, original strut mounts are required. Kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required.

Technical note before ordering

• Except 4WD.
• Fitting may require wheel spacers.
• For 50 mm diameter models, it is strongly recommended to replace the original sway bar to avoid any contact with the right-hand wheel shaft: use sway bar 66550008 (ordered separately). (91)
