STXA coilovers ST Suspensions VOLKSWAGEN Golf I Cabriolet

STXA ST Suspensions coilovers, part number 18280001#2, are designed for the VOLKSWAGEN Golf I Cabriolet, known as Golf I / Jetta I, (17,155) incl. Cabriolet. Developed from motorsport, the STXA range allows height and damping adjustment for a custom "setup".

• Maximum permitted front axle load: -785 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle load: -640 kg
• Front lowering: 45-75 mm
• Rear lowering: 45-75 mm
• Height adjustment at front and rear (where the vehicle allows it) via a disc on the threaded body of the shock absorber
• Progressive damping adjustment via a knob on the top of the shock absorber shaft

Installation and shipping

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension without modification. If the vehicle only has rear springs as standard, this kit will likewise have rear springs only.

Only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: for any other model, original strut mounts are required for fitting. Kits are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential to lowering is required.
