STXA Coilovers ST Suspensions VOLKSWAGEN Bora

The STXA ST Suspensions coilovers (part number 18282002#4) are designed for the VOLKSWAGEN Bora (1J), 2WD, saloon and estate. Derived from motorsport, the STXA range offers height and damping adjustment.

• Maximum permitted rear axle load: -1080 kg
• Front lowering: 35 to 65 mm
• Rear lowering: 35 to 65 mm
• Height adjustment at front and rear (where the vehicle allows it) via a disc on the threaded shock body
• Progressive damping adjustment via a dial on the top of the shaft
• Galvanized and anti-corrosion coating, galvanized steel strut legs

Fitting and contents

The quantity supplied is enough to equip the vehicle. The coilovers fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If the vehicle only came with rear springs from the factory, the kit will be the same. Kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required. Only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: for all other models, use original strut mounts. ST Suspensions is a KW brand, and its products are manufactured by KW.

Technical note before ordering

• Not suitable for 4WD vehicles.
• Fitting may require wheel spacers.
• For models with 50 mm strut diameter, it is strongly recommended to replace the original sway bar to avoid any contact with the right-hand axle shaft: use sway bar 66550008 (to be ordered separately). (91)
