STXA Coilovers ST Suspensions VOLKSWAGEN Bora

The STXA coilovers from ST Suspensions (ref. 18282002#3) fit the VOLKSWAGEN Bora (1J), 2-wheel drive, saloon and estate. Derived from motorsport, the STXA range allows adjustment of both ride height and damping stiffness.

• Maximum permitted front axle load: -1020 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle load: -1080 kg
• Front lowering: 35 to 65 mm
• Rear lowering: 35 to 65 mm
• Front and rear ride height adjustment (on vehicles that allow it) via a disc located on the threaded body
• Progressive damping adjustment via a knob on the top of the shock absorber shaft
• Galvanized treatment and anti-corrosion coating, struts in galvanized steel

Fitting and contents

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and replace the original suspension without modification. If the vehicle only has springs at the rear as standard, this kit will be the same. Kits are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required. Only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: for all other models, original strut mounts must be retained. ST Suspensions is a KW brand, and its products are manufactured by KW.

Technical note before ordering

• Not suitable for 4-wheel drive.
• Fitting may require wheel spacers.
• For 50 mm diameter models, it is strongly recommended to replace the original sway bar to avoid any contact with the right-hand wheel shaft: use sway bar 66550008 (ordered separately). (91)
