STXA Coilovers ST Suspensions AUDI A3 Cabriolet

STXA coilover kit by ST Suspensions (ref. 1828000Y) for Audi A3 (8V) Cabriolet without electronically controlled suspension, 2WD, models with independent rear suspension (IRS), Ø 50 mm struts, 03/14-. Motorsport-derived, the STXA range allows adjustment of ride height and damping.

Features

• Front and rear height adjustment (on vehicles that allow it) via a disc on the threaded body of the shock absorber
• Progressive damping adjustment via a knob on the top of the shock absorber rod, to fine-tune a custom setting
• Front lowering: 30 to 60 mm
• Rear lowering: 30 to 55 mm
• Maximum permitted front axle load: up to 980 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle load: up to 1050 kg
• Galvanized finish and anti-corrosion coating, galvanized steel struts

Installation and supply

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension without modification. If your vehicle only has rear springs from the factory, the same applies to this kit. Kits are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required. Only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: for the others, use original strut mounts.

Technical notes before ordering:

• M-Tech equipped models: use only lowering spring kits. Lowering will be 20 mm less than indicated.
• Reserved for models whose front strut measures 50 mm in diameter.
• Vehicles with electronically controlled suspension: the disconnect box is required (ref. 68510370).
