STXA Coilovers ST Suspensions AUDI A3

The STXA ST Suspensions coilovers (ref. 1821000G) are designed for the Audi A3 (8V) without adaptive suspension, sedan and Sportback. Derived from motorsport, the STXA range allows height and damping adjustment.

• Vehicle: Audi A3 (8V), sedan + Sportback, 2-wheel drive, models with independent rear suspension (IRS), Ø 50mm struts, years 05/12-
• Maximum permitted front axle load: 981-1075 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle load: -990 kg
• Front lowering: 30-60 mm
• Rear lowering: 30-55 mm
• Height adjustment at front and rear (on vehicles that allow it) via a dial located on the threaded body of the shock absorber
• Precise damping adjustment via a progressive knob on the top of the shock absorber shaft
• Galvanized steel struts with anti-corrosion coating

Fitting and contents

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If your vehicle only has springs at the rear as standard, this kit will be the same. Kits are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required.

Only STXTA coilovers are sold with strut mounts: for this model, plan to use original strut mounts for fitting.

Technical notes before ordering

• On M-Tech models, use only the lowering spring kits. Lowering will then be 20 mm less than indicated.
• For models with a 50mm diameter strut on the front axle.
• On vehicles with adaptive suspension, the disconnection box is required: ref. 68510370.
