STX Threaded Coilovers ST Suspensions BMW 5 Series

STX coilovers from ST Suspensions (ref. 13220007) are designed for the BMW 5 Series (E39), 5/D, Sedan, from 12/95. They provide precise height adjustment with a fixed damping setting factory-preset.

• Height adjustment: by ring located on the threaded body of the shock absorber, front and rear (on vehicles that allow it).
• Damping: fixed, factory-set.
• Lowering: 35-65 mm front, 30-60 mm rear.
• Maximum permitted weight: 1020 kg on front axle, 1200 kg on rear axle.
• Galvanized finish with anti-corrosion coating. Strut legs in galvanized steel.

Installation and contents

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and install in place of the original suspension, without modification. If the vehicle only has rear springs as original equipment, this kit will be the same. Kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required. Only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: for other models, use original strut mounts for installation.

BMW 31 331 116 983, and dust boot REF. BMW 31 331 110 196. Rear: upper mount REF. BMW 33 521 091 710, bracket REF. BMW 33 521 090 282, plate REF. BMW 33 521 092 986, dust boot REF. BMW 31 331 137 932, and rubber washer REF. BMW 33 531 091 031.
