STX Threaded Coilovers ST Suspensions BMW 5 Series

ST Suspensions STX coilovers, part no. 13220035, for BMW 5 Series (E39), (5/D) Touring, equipped with rear air suspension, from 01/97. Derived from motorsport, the STX range offers very precise height adjustment with a factory-set fixed damping.

• Lowering: 35 to 65 mm front, 30 to 60 mm rear
• Maximum permitted front axle load: up to 1020 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle load: up to 1410 kg
• Height: front and rear adjustment (on vehicles that allow it) via a disc placed on the threaded body of the shock absorber
• Protection: galvanizing and anti-corrosion coating, galvanized steel strut assemblies

Fitting and delivery

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If your vehicle only has springs at the rear as standard, the same will apply to this kit. Kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required. Only STXTA coilovers are sold with strut mounts: for other models, use original strut mounts for installation.
