STX Threaded Coilovers ST Suspensions BMW 5 Series

The STX coilovers ST Suspensions (ref. 13220045) fit the BMW 5 Series (E60, E61), (560L) Touring. Derived from motorsport, the STX range offers precise height adjustment with factory-set fixed damping.

• Years: from 06/04 (catalog: E61 Touring, 05/2004 to 09/2010)
• Front lowering: 25 to 45 mm
• Rear lowering: 25 to 45 mm
• Maximum permitted front axle weight: 1070 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle weight: 1300 kg
• Front and rear height adjustment (on vehicles that allow it) via disc located on the threaded body
• Galvanized and anti-corrosion coated; galvanized steel struts

Installation and contents

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If the vehicle only has springs at the rear as standard, the same will apply to these kits. They are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required. Only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: for any other model, plan to use original strut mounts. ST Suspensions is a brand of KW, and its products are manufactured by KW.

Technical note before ordering: fitting may require wheel spacers. At the rear, the sport shock absorbers and the connection kit for the height sensors are supplied, and the original air spring is retained. For height adjustment, refer to the installation instructions.
