STX Threaded Coilovers ST Suspensions AUDI A3

STX coilovers from ST Suspensions (part number 13210005) fit the Audi A3 (8L) in two-wheel drive. Developed from motorsport, the STX range offers precise height adjustment and a fixed, factory-set damping rate.

Installation and contents

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and install in place of the original suspension, without modification. If your vehicle only has rear springs from the factory, the same applies to this kit. Kits are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required. Only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: for all other models, original strut mounts are required for installation.

Technical notes before ordering

• Installation may require wheel spacers.
• For models with a 50 mm diameter, it is strongly recommended to replace the original sway bar to avoid contact with the right-hand wheel shaft: use sway bar 66550008 (ordered separately). (91)
• In case of extreme lowering, it is strongly recommended to replace the sway bar to avoid contact with the right-hand wheel shaft: non-Xenon headlight version, sway bar REF. 685 50 000; Xenon headlight version, sway bar REF. 685 50 005.
