The STX ST Suspensions coilovers (part number 13210039#8) fit the VOLKSWAGEN Golf V and Golf Plus 4motion (1K, 1KP), from 09/03 onwards. Derived from motorsport, the STX range offers precise ride height adjustment with fixed, factory-set damping.
Specifications
- Maximum permitted front axle weight: -1105 kg
- Maximum permitted rear axle weight: -980 kg
- Front lowering: 35-65 mm
- Rear lowering: 30-55 mm
- Ride height adjustment at front and rear (where the vehicle allows) via a disc located on the threaded body of the shock absorber
- Galvanized steel struts with anti-corrosion coating
Installation and shipping
The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to fit the vehicle and replace the original suspension without modification. Strut mounts are only supplied on STXTA models: for this model, original strut mounts must be used for installation. Kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required. ST Suspensions is a KW brand, and its products are manufactured by KW.
