STX coilovers from ST Suspensions, derived from motorsport, offer precise ride height adjustment with a factory-set fixed damping rate. They are designed for the VOLKSWAGEN Golf V, Golf Plus, Cross Golf and Golf Variant (1K, 1KP, 1KM), Ø 55mm struts.

Installation and contents

Ride height is adjusted at the front and rear (on vehicles that allow it) by a dial located on the threaded body of the shock absorber. The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If your vehicle only has springs at the rear as original equipment, the kit will be the same.

Only STXTA coilovers are sold with strut mounts. For this model, use the original strut mounts for installation. Kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required.
