STX Coilovers ST Suspensions VOLKSWAGEN Golf IV

Derived from motorsport, the STX range allows precise height adjustment, with a fixed damping setting factory-set. This kit is designed for the VOLKSWAGEN Golf IV, (1J) 2WD, wagon, years 04/99-.

• Reference: 13282002#4
• Front lowering: 35-65 mm
• Rear lowering: 35-65 mm
• Maximum permitted front axle load: -1020 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle load: -1080 kg
• Height adjustment: at the front and rear (on vehicles that allow it), via a disc on the threaded body of the shock absorber
• Protection: galvanizing and anti-corrosion coating, galvanized steel strut assemblies

Delivery and installation

Coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If your vehicle only has rear springs originally, the same applies to this kit.

Only STXTA coilovers are sold with strut mounts. For all other models, plan on using original strut mounts for installation. Kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required.

Technical notes before ordering:

• Excludes 4WD.
• Installation may require wheel spacers.
• For 50 mm diameter models, it is strongly recommended to replace the original sway bar to avoid any contact with the right-hand axle shaft: use sway bar 66550008 (sold separately).
