STX Coilovers ST Suspensions VOLKSWAGEN Bora

The ST Suspensions STX coilovers (part number 13282002#3) fit the VOLKSWAGEN Bora (1J) 2WD, sedan and wagon, from 10/98. Born from motorsport, the STX range offers precise height adjustment with a fixed damping setting preset at the factory.

• Front lowering: 35 to 65 mm
• Rear lowering: 35 to 65 mm
• Maximum permitted front axle load: 1020 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle load: 1080 kg
• Height adjustment at front and rear (on vehicles that allow it) via a dial on the threaded body of the shock absorber
• Galvanizing and anti-corrosion coating
• Galvanized steel struts

Fitting and contents

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If the vehicle only has springs at the rear as standard, the same applies to this kit. The kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable), except for any accessory essential to lowering. Only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: plan to use original strut mounts for fitting. ST Suspensions is a KW brand, and KW manufactures its products.

Check before ordering

• Not suitable for 4WD versions.
• Fitting may require wheel spacers.
• For 50 mm diameter models, it is strongly recommended to replace the original sway bar to avoid any contact with the right-hand wheel shaft, with sway bar 66550008 (ordered separately).
