STX coilovers by ST Suspensions for SEAT Leon I (1M) 2WD (08/1999 to 05/2006). Born from motorsport, the STX range combines precise height adjustment with a factory-set fixed damping rate.

Shipping and installation

ST Suspensions coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If your vehicle only has springs at the rear as standard, this kit will be the same.

Only STXTA coilovers are sold with strut mounts: for any other model, original strut mounts are required for installation. Kits are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential to lowering is required. ST Suspensions is a KW brand, and its products are manufactured by KW.

Technical notes before ordering

• Installation may require wheel spacers.
• For 50 mm diameter models, it is strongly recommended to replace the original sway bar to avoid any contact with the right-hand wheel shaft: use sway bar 66550008 (ordered separately).
• In case of extreme lowering, replacing the sway bar is also strongly recommended to avoid this contact: version without Xenon headlight, REF. 685 50 000; version with Xenon headlight, REF. 685 50 005.
