The ST Suspensions STX coilovers (ref. 13290003) fit the Renault Clio II (Clio B), with a 27mm distance between mounting points. Derived from motorsport, the STX range offers precise height adjustment with fixed, factory-set damping.
- Years: 09/98 onwards
- Lowering: 35 to 65 mm front, 30 to 50 mm rear
- Maximum permitted front axle load: up to 860 kg
- Maximum permitted rear axle load: up to 785 kg
- Height adjustment: via a disc on the threaded body of the shock absorber, front and rear (where the vehicle allows)
- Protection: galvanized finish and anti-corrosion coating, galvanized steel struts
Fitting and shipping
The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If the vehicle originally has springs only at the rear, the same applies to this kit. The kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable): original strut mounts must be reused for fitting, only the STXTA models being sold with strut mounts.
