STX Coilovers ST Suspensions BMW 3 Series

The STX coilovers from ST Suspensions (part no. 13220031) are designed for the BMW 3 Series (E36), (3B, 3/B,3C, 3/C, 3/CG) Sedan, Estate, Coupe and Convertible. Derived from motorsport, the STX range offers precise height adjustment, with fixed damping set at the factory.

• Years: 09/90-05/92
• Maximum permitted front axle load: up to 900 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle load: up to 1150 kg
• Front lowering: 40-80 mm
• Rear lowering: 30-60 mm
• Galvanized steel struts with anti-corrosion coating

Adjustment

Height is adjusted at the front and rear (on vehicles that allow it) via a collar located on the threaded body of the shock absorber.

Fitting and delivery

The kits are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If your vehicle originally has springs only at the rear, the kit will be the same. They are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), except for any accessory essential to lowering. Only STXTA models are sold with strut mounts: for other models, original strut mounts are required.

Technical notes before ordering

• Fitting may require wheel spacers.
• For models built before 6/92, the following must be replaced: bearing REF. BMW 31 331 092 885, strut mount REF. BMW 31 331 116 983 and dust boot REF. BMW 31 331 110 196.
