ST Suspensions lowering spring and shock absorber kit for VOLKSWAGEN Golf IV (1J) 2WD Estate 1.8, 2.0, 2.3 V5, 1.9SDi, 1.9TDi
Years: 04/99-06/07
Compatible vehicle power (in kW): 50-132
Maximum permitted front axle load (in kg): -980
Maximum permitted rear axle load (in kg): -1020
Possible front/rear lowering (in mm): 40/40
Please note:
ST Suspensions shock absorbers and springs are supplied in sufficient quantity to fit the vehicle. They install in place of the original suspension, without modification. For example, if the original setup only has rear springs, the same applies to these ST Suspensions kits. Be sure to use the original strut mounts for installation. ST Suspensions kits are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and/or springs as applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required.
Shock absorber cartridges, however, are sold individually! You will therefore need to order at least 2 to equip one axle.
WARNING: compatible power ratings are expressed in kW (kilowatts). To find the equivalent in hp, convert this value (1 kW = 1.36 hp). Online converters are also available.
ST Suspensions is a brand of KW, and products under this brand are manufactured by KW.
