Coilovers STXTA ST Suspensions VOLKSWAGEN New Beetle I

The ST Suspensions STXTA coilovers (ref. 18210805#4) are designed for the Volkswagen New Beetle I (9C) sedan. The STX-TA range is derived from motorsport.

• Maximum permitted front axle load: 1030 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle load: 850 kg
• Front lowering: 35 to 60 mm
• Rear lowering: 30 to 60 mm
• Ride height adjustment via a disc on the threaded shock absorber body, front and rear (on vehicles that allow it), with damping adjustment
• Adjustable aluminum strut mounts included for camber adjustment
• Galvanized steel struts, with galvanizing and anti-corrosion coating

Fitting and shipping

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. If your vehicle only has rear springs as standard, the same applies to this kit. ST Suspensions kits are supplied bare (shock absorber cartridges and springs where applicable), unless an accessory essential for lowering is required. Only STXTA coilovers are sold with strut mounts. ST Suspensions is a KW brand, and its products are manufactured by KW.

To check before ordering

• Fitting may require wheel spacers.
• For 50 mm diameter models, it is strongly recommended to replace the original sway bar to avoid contact with the right-hand axle shaft: use sway bar 66550008 (ordered separately). (91)
• With extreme lowering, it is strongly recommended to replace the sway bar to avoid contact with the right-hand axle shaft. Version without Xenon headlights: sway bar REF. 685 50 000. Version with Xenon headlights: sway bar REF. 685 50 005.
