Coilovers STXA ST Suspensions VOLKSWAGEN Golf VII 4Motion

The ST Suspensions STXA coilovers (ref. 1828000H#3) are designed for the Volkswagen Golf VII 4Motion (AU), 4WD sedan, in models with independent rear suspension (IRS) and Ø 50mm struts. Derived from motorsport, the STXA range allows height and damping adjustment.

• Years: 11/12 onwards
• Lowering: 35 to 65 mm front, 40 to 65 mm rear
• Maximum permitted front axle load: 966 to 1080 kg
• Maximum permitted rear axle load: up to 980 kg
• Height: adjustment via disc on the threaded body, front and rear (where the vehicle allows)
• Damping: progressive adjustment via knob on top of the shock absorber shaft
• Protection: galvanized finish and anti-corrosion coating, galvanized steel struts

Fitting and shipping

The coilovers are supplied in sufficient quantity to equip the vehicle and fit in place of the original suspension, without modification. The kits are supplied bare (shock cartridges and springs where applicable): original strut mounts must be reused for fitting, only the STXTA models being sold with strut mounts. ST Suspensions is a KW brand, which manufactures these products.

Technical notes

• On M-Tech equipped models, only use lowering spring kits: the lowering will be 20mm less than indicated.
• For models with a 50mm strut diameter on the front axle.
• The original electronic suspension control system must be deactivated. The deactivation kit is available under KW reference 68510342.
