One year of road and track development

The RP700 compound is based on a medium-hardness aramid fiber compound, ECE R90 homologated. It strikes the right balance between excellent cold bite (no warm-up time) and virtually no fade under sustained use. Braking becomes stronger, more consistent and more predictable, stop after stop.

Which part number should I choose for my car?

The choice depends on rotor size and position: VWR670004 for 312 mm front (excluding Performance Pack, e.g. Golf 7 GTI), VWR670006 for 340 mm front (Performance Pack, e.g. Golf R and S3), VWR670005 and VWR670007 for the rear depending on rotor type. Check your rotor size before ordering.

Will they squeal or produce a lot of dust?

No, the compound is calibrated for road use: noise and dust remain contained while offering much better bite than stock. Proper bedding-in remains essential.

Are they compatible with Brembo 4-piston brakes?

Some versions with Brembo 4-piston calipers are not covered by this range: check your vehicle's brake equipment before ordering.
