How do the valves work?

With the ECE-approved Hurricane module, the electronics automatically open and close 2 valves according to road and engine speed (open from 0 to 20 km/h and from 80 km/h upwards). You get the maximum permitted sound without having to manage anything.

If you keep the factory module, your vehicle's drive modes control the valve opening.

• "Factory control module retained": the valves follow the factory drive modes, at no extra cost.
• "Hurricane control module with ECE approval": the way to drive legally.

Which downpipe is on your car?

• "On factory downpipe": your car still has its factory downpipe.
• "On 70 mm HJS downpipe": you have a 70 mm HJS downpipe, Hurricane adapts the system during production.

To benefit from the Regulation (EU) 540/2014 approval, choose:

• connection on the factory downpipe
• one of the tailpipes offered
