At 9.5 mm (3/8") in diameter, the Gates Barricade GreenShield™ hose is the go-to choice for high-flow fuel injection systems. This 76 cm length features the same 5-layer construction as the rest of the range: patented GreenShield™ barrier, HNBR tube, aramid reinforcement, and a 15.5 bar working pressure. Compatible with E85, B100 biodiesel and pure methanol.

The 3/8" Barricade for demanding installations

The 9.5 mm (imperial 3/8") diameter is found on high-flow injection rail feeds, fuel return circuits on high-power engines, and installations on industrial diesel engines under heavy load. This diameter leaves little room for approximation: pressure rating and chemical resistance are more critical here than on smaller diameters.

Gates meets these requirements with the same rigor as across the entire Barricade range. The HNBR tube resists oxidizing fuels, the GreenShield™ barrier limits vapor permeation to 1 g/m²/day, and the CPE cover protects against mechanical and chemical stresses from the engine environment. The temperature range extends up to +150 °C for intermittent use, which covers locations close to heat sources in the engine bay.
