Choosing the right fasteners
For a bolt or screw, the under-head length, thread and seat shape must be checked carefully. The seat can be conical (cone-shaped) or ball (hemispherical). Most aftermarket wheels, i.e. non-OEM wheels, are fitted with bolts or nuts with a conical seat.
The under-head length depends on the thickness of the wheel spacer fitted. For example, with an original length of 37 mm and a 20 mm spacer, the required under-head length is 57 mm. Customer service can provide more information.
