Choosing the right lug bolts
The length under head, bolt shape and thread must be precisely defined. The seat shape, meaning the seat of the bolt or stud, is very important. There are 2 main categories: conical (cone-shaped) and ball seat (like a half ball). Most aftermarket wheels, meaning non-original wheels, must be installed with conical seat bolts or nuts.
The length under head depends on the thickness of the wheel spacer fitted. For example, with an original length under head of 37 mm and a 20 mm spacer, a length under head of 57 mm must be allowed. More information available from customer service.
