Choosing the right seat
The seat shape, or the seat of the bolt or nut, is critical. There are two main categories: conical (cone-shaped) and ball (half-sphere). Most aftermarket wheels, meaning non-OE wheels, must be fitted with conical seat bolts or nuts.
For bolts, the length under head depends on the thickness of the wheel spacer fitted. For example, with an original length under head of 37 mm and a 20 mm spacer, choose a length under head of 57 mm. Customer service can advise you.
