Choosing your wheel hardware
Length under head, bolt shape and thread must be precisely defined. The seat shape, meaning the seat of the bolt or stud, is very important. There are two main categories: conical (cone-shaped) and spherical (half-ball). Most aftermarket wheels, meaning those not original equipment, must be installed with conical seat bolts or nuts.
Length under head depends on the thickness of the wheel spacer fitted. For example, with an original length under head of 37 mm and a 20 mm thick spacer, a length under head of 57 mm can be used. Customer service can advise you.
