Choosing the right bolt
The seat shape, i.e. the seating surface of the bolt or stud, is critical. There are two main types: conical (cone-shaped) and ball (hemispherical). Most aftermarket wheels, i.e. non-original wheels, must be installed with conical seat bolts or nuts.
The shank length depends on the thickness of the wheel spacer fitted. For example, with an original shank length of 37 mm and a 20 mm spacer, a 57 mm shank length is required. Customer service can advise you.
