EGR valve delete plate 1.9 / 2.4 JTD

The Dynaparts EGR delete plate, part number DP-ENG-EGR-PLATE-01, blocks off the EGR valve on JTD (CF2) engines fitted to Fiat, Alfa and Lancia.

Compatibility

This plate is designed for the EGR valve, not for a specific vehicle: the same engine or EGR valve is fitted to many models. Compare the valve or engine block of your vehicle with the photos on this product page. You can also send a photo of your engine by email before ordering.

Installation

The photos on this page include markers (arrow or drawing) that serve as an installation guide. An engine silicone tube is offered at the bottom of the page to complete the seal.

Dashboard warning light

On recent engines (generally 2004 and later), a warning light may come on or the vehicle may switch to limp mode. An electronic intervention may then be needed in addition to this mechanical delete. It is also possible to drill the plate to make a restrictor orifice: it lets a small amount of gas through and prevents the ECU from detecting the modification.
