Start & Stop permanently disabled once and for all

On the Golf 8, Octavia 4, Formentor and other recent Volkswagen Group models, Start & Stop reactivates at every engine start. The result: a habit to form every morning, a lapse at the first red light, and an engine that shuts off when you least expect it. The Dynaparts module puts an end to this routine: once installed, the system stays disabled at every start, without any action on your part.

Why so many drivers turn it off

Start & Stop was designed to reduce fuel consumption in town, and recent engines are sized to handle it. In daily use, however, many drivers find it annoying:

• A delay when restarting, which gets in the way when merging quickly into a roundabout or at an intersection.
• Repeated stress on the starter and the AGM or EFB battery, especially in traffic and on short trips, even though these batteries are expensive to replace.
• Reduced comfort when the air conditioning or heating weakens with the engine off.

No coding, no diagnostic tool

On MQB EVO vehicles, changing this setting through coding is not always straightforward and requires a diagnostic tool. The Dynaparts module works around the issue: it sits between the Gateway module and its original wiring harness and acts directly on the vehicle's CAN bus to disable the function at every start. No software intervention is required.

Installation in a few minutes

• Remove the cover located under the steering wheel to access the Gateway module.
• Disconnect the original connector from the module.
• Insert the Dynaparts module in series: its connectors are identical to the original ones.
• Put the cover back in place. That's it.

The installation is fully reversible: simply remove the module and reconnect the original connector to restore factory operation.

Compatibility

This module is intended for VAG Group vehicles on the MQB EVO platform fitted with the 5WB907530K Gateway module, for example:

• Volkswagen Golf 8 and Caddy 5
• Skoda Octavia 4
• Cupra Formentor
• Other VAG models fitted with the same Gateway module

Important: the vehicle must have a factory Start & Stop control button on the dashboard. Without this button, the module will not work.
