The Dinan Intercooler (Part No. D780-0002) is developed specifically for the BMW 330i/340i/430i/440i Dinan (2016-2020).
- Average reduction of 8° in intake air temperatures (IAT), with a maximum reduction of 15° over 15 consecutive full-load accelerations
- Reduces the tendency to overheat / go into limp mode
- Dinan radiator, 48 mm thick, compared to 27 mm for the original radiator
- +78% cooling surface area and volume compared to stock
- 100% TIG welded and pressure tested
- Installation hardware included, with transmission oil cooler brackets specific to xDrive versions
- Estimated installation time: 4 h
Note: Due to the enlarged wiring harness and the "L"-shaped end tanks, a slight modification of the plastic wiring harness cover may be required on some stock configurations, particularly those fitted with the optional hot climate intercooler. Refer to the PDF installation instructions for full details of the procedure.
