The original catalytic converter restricts exhaust flow on this engine and limits turbo breathing as soon as you look to get more out of it. This downpipe with decat pipe from Darkside Developments (part number DSD5604) is designed for the Audi A6 C5 2.5TDI and Audi A6 allroad quattro.
Key points
- Material: stainless steel
- The pipe tapers down to the diameter of the original dual exhaust to fit the standard system
- Two-piece pipe for easier installation, joined by a stainless steel V-Band clamp
Compatibility
- Audi A6 allroad quattro: BAU (179) AKE (180)
- Audi A6 / Avant: BAU (179) AKE (180)
- Audi A6 / S6 / Avant / quattro: BAU (179) AKE (180)
Several engine variants may exist within the same generation: check the exact engine code (vehicle registration document or engine plate) before ordering.
