Over time, the original rubber and plastic hoses on your TDI Common Rail wear out, balloon under pressure and let the boost escape. The Darkside Developments hard pipework kit fixes the problem: rigid aluminium, silicone hoses and a clean intake line, without most of the original clip connectors.

Why choose this kit?

  • More stable boost pressure thanks to rigid pipes that do not deform under boost
  • A tidy engine bay with the colour of the silicone hoses of your choice
  • A complete kit supplied with the hoses and clamps you need
  • British made by Darkside Developments, a TDI tuning specialist

What is included

  • Darkside aluminium pipes with MAP sensor boss
  • Darkside silicone hoses
  • Stainless steel T-bolt clamps

Your choices when ordering

  • Silicone hose colour: black available quickly, other colours on order (lead time of up to 2 weeks)
  • Intercooler: fitting on the original intercooler or on a Darkside S3 intercooler (70 mm)

Fitment

Mk6 Golf platform with 1.6 / 2.0 TDI Common Rail engine, manual gearbox only: Golf Mk6, Scirocco, Caddy, Jetta Mk6, Passat, Touran, Audi A3, TT / TTS, SEAT Leon and Toledo, depending on engine code. Not suitable for automatic gearbox vehicles. North American spec CR 140 engines (CBEA / CJAA) require an S3 or Darkside S3 intercooler: the kit is not compatible with the original CR140 intercooler.

Good to know

  • The silicone hoses are supplied long to absorb tolerances and are trimmed to length during fitting
  • If your original intercooler uses clip connectors, you will need 2 clip connector adapters, sold separately
  • Not sure about fitment? Contact us before ordering with your model and engine code
