The CTS Turbo BOSS A91 Upgrade Turbo Kit (part number CTS-TR-1060) is a CNC machined hybrid turbo designed as a direct replacement for the factory turbo on the Toyota Supra A91 with B58TU 6-port engine. It is intended for engines where the K04 has reached its limits.
Technical specifications
- New turbocharger(s), no core return required
- GTX3582R-style Gen2 ceramic ball-bearing CHRA (dual ball-bearing)
- Billet 11 blade compressor wheel
- Proprietary stainless steel turbine housing, flow matched to the turbocharger
- VSR balancing beyond original tolerances
Installation
Installation is recommended by an experienced tuner. An ECU tune matched to the new turbo is essential: without it, the hybrid turbo's potential will not be used and engine management will stay on the factory part's settings.
