When Stage 2+ is no longer sufficient and the K04 reaches its physical limits, the CTS Turbo K04-X hybrid turbocharger takes over. It is CNC machined and fits as a direct replacement for the factory turbo on the Audi A4, A5, Allroad 2.0T and Q5 2.0T (B7/B8).

- Dedicated X compressor and turbine housings, not reworked factory housings
- Dedicated CTS K04 hybrid core, reinforced thrust bearings
- Trimmed K04 turbine wheel
Installation
Installation by an experienced tuner is recommended. An ECU remap adapted to the new turbo is essential: without it, the hybrid turbo's potential will not be utilized and engine management will remain on the factory part's settings.
